For steam cleaning, normal drying time for moderately soiled carpet is approximately 6-8 hours. If doors and windows can be opened and ceiling fans or floor fans used, drying time can be as little as a couple of hours.
On average, it will take 15 to 20 minutes per room depending on the size and shape of the room.
The average house of four to five rooms takes roughly an hour to an hour and a half to clean.
The average room size, or area, is between 64-144 square feet.
The carpet cleaning method we use is Hot Water Extraction which is also known as steam cleaning. This cleaning method is best for extraction as it removes the toughest of stains and dirt. This is the only method recommended by Dalton Carpet Manufacturing.
A light vacuuming is strongly recommended and most always required. Vacuuming prior to arrival help to ensure your carpet cleaner focuses on the scheduled services in order to meet the designated time schedule.
Our carpet cleaning solutions are 100% safe for both children and pets. They are non-toxic, green solutions that are safe for people, pets and the environment.
We recommend staying off of the cleaned carpet until the carpet has fully dried. It is however safe to walk on the carpet as long as your feet or shoes are clean. We recommend to be cautions from walking from carpet to hard surface as your feet may be slippery.
We recommend removing all things from the areas and rooms you want cleaned. Items such as rugs, magazines, kids toys, dog toys, breakables and any furniture items blocking the high trafficked areas to be cleaned. In most cases, normal furniture does not have to be removed.
Any stains that are treated and cleaned will not come back because of our stain cleaning and removal rinse process which neutralizes all residues. Some stains are permanent and cannot be removed.

Unfortunately we do not move any furniture. Please move any and all furniture that may block the cleaning of high trafficked carpet areas before the technician arrives.
